Performance Machine is seeking an experienced ERP System Administrator to support and develop applications (both internal and customer facing) and works as a systems analyst. This position is the liaison between management planning and analysis, and the users of database applications. The ERP System Administrator troubleshoots and works with end-users to insure that applications meet their needs and keep pace with changes in program operations, policies and/or procedures. This position performs system maintenance and system upgrades ERP systems as well as improves process and tracks changes within a PCI compliant environment. Examines, assess, and document business operations and procedures. Relates these procedures to IT/IS systems and applications that are designed to enable the Company to accomplish its objectives. Assist operations and planning by developing reports, downloads, and analyses from discipline-specific systems and applications. Itemized Description of Duties: Daily administration and support of ERP database including but not limited to managing multiple user setups, authorizations and roles, customization of user-defined fields, and layout changes. Working with management, strategic planning & analysis staff and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, design, and implementation Develop and create customized reports and dashboards for ERP users. Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including operations and production staff, planning and financial analysis staff and/or outside consultants as needed. Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing. Keeping abreast of new ERP features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements. Train new and existing users on how to use applications and integrated systems. Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements. Provide application users with technical support. Logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution; Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users Working with other teams to maintain and improve compliance with data between ERP systems and other internal systems. Assess business operations and processes to understand procedures, information flows and handoffs, decisions, communications pathway and the like. Create, design, and format technical specification documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, and other information or processes needed to describe required system changes for development, QA, and other internal customers. May provide support to applications in production by tracking production problems and troubleshooting them to sustain application in production. Develop queries, analyses, or reports from applications for operations or management staff of assigned business unit(s). Provide guidance or technical supervision to less experienced staff performing similar functions. Utilizes software to generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations. Required Skill & Knowledge: 2-plus years of experience with Reporting Tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, or similar 4 years experience with MS Excel and MS Access 2 plus years ERP administration Ability to work independently and give strong attention to detail. Strong ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and fluently in English. Strong ability to provide a high level of problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Must have thorough knowledge of operating systems/information security policies. Analytical thinker; strong problem solving skills are a must. Must apply critical thinking skills to find ways to promote process improvement and present technical information in a comprehensive fashion. Maintain and secure sensitive/confidential information.
