This individual would build algorithms and analyze data to provide content optimization ideas and solutions to creative executives within the company. This is a high-impact position where your analysis and interpretation of results informs decisions affecting millions of consumers, with a direct tie to revenue. The role covers a broad range of subject areas, including analysis of marketing effectiveness, user frequency, fan engagement, personalization, predicting future consumer behavior, and content optimization. We are a tight and driven team with big goals, so we seek individuals who are truly passionate about their work. We also support a healthy work-life-balance. Responsibilities: Partner closely with Product Management leadership to design, implement and analyze experiments that drive key product decisions. Proactively perform data exploration on user behavior with a focus on video analytics to discover future testing opportunities. Present your research and insights to all levels of the company, clearly and concisely. Research the best metrics to measure fan engagement. Lead the research and development of new experimentation methods and statistical techniques that could sharpen or speed up decision making. Relies on design of experiment and the scientific method to answer the “questions”. Define, discover and implement quantitative metrics and business level KPI’s to measure user engagement across multiple content delivery platforms. Contribute in technical discussions on data standards and governance. Act as a statistical consultant to various business projects in-flight across DTCI Basic Qualifications: 5-10 years relevant experience with a proven track record of leveraging analytics to drive significant business impact. Strong statistical knowledge and intuition. Strong programming skills and a proven ability to learn new programming languages. Experience with distributed databases and query languages like SQL. Strong data visualizations skills to convey information and results clearly. Proficiency with a statistical analysis tool such as R or Python. Ability to work independently and drive your own projects. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Impactful presentation skills in front of a large and diverse audience. Innate curiosity about consumer behavior and technology Preferred Qualifications: A fan of movies and television is a strong plus. Ability to take a project or proof of concept through the full solution life-cycle. From hypothesis testing, data munging, modeling, conclusion and handoff to engineering teams to implement into production. Experience with probabilistic programming, TensorFlow/Keras, Spark a plus. Experience with TDA, Bayesian statistics and neural networks a plus. Required Education: Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Software Engineering or related field Preferred Education: Advanced degree

This person should have experience writing surveys to a digital audience, analyzing results, and should be comfortable connecting results to first and third party data sources. The candidate will combine skills in survey design, experimental design and statistical analysis to create a deeper view of our audience with the goals of helping to grow retention and engagement. Responsibilities: Create quantitative research and design surveys, considering behavioral data that is already available, to help us better understand audiences and based on stakeholder needs. Incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research when applicable. Review and approve survey programming to ensure critical data elements are in place for effective analysis Ensure quality fielding, clean and format data, prepare summary statistics and cross tabulation analysis. Work with members of our Retention Analytics team to perform statistical analysis including audience segmentation, experimental design, significance testing, and regression modeling.
