The Revenue Management organization is part of a team that supports clients across Disney Parks, Experiences & Consumer Products including Walt Disney World, the Disneyland Resort, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. The team leverages technology, data analytics, optimization, statistical and econometric modeling to explore opportunities, shape business decisions and drive business value. Revenue Management seeks forward thinking team members who are passionate about delivering quality results and enjoy working closely with business partners on both strategic and tactical challenges. We will be considering talent to fill Analyst and Sr. Analyst positions, both levels reporting to a Manager-Revenue Management. Responsibilities Manage the demand forecast and optimization through the hotel revenue management system for assigned resorts with the goal of maximizing overall hotel profitability and Guest experiences. Based on market knowledge and company goals, develop strategies within the revenue management value streams of dilution management, displacement controls, upgrading and overbooking. Understand all outside factors such as economic, marketing, sales and pricing strategies that may drive a need to influence the revenue management system forecast. Develop and maintain partnerships with Resort General Managers, Pricing, Forecasting, Marketing, and Resorts line of business to develop strategies in line with the goals of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Partner with other members of the broader Revenue Management team to help enhance revenue management strategies and system functionality. Develop and use statistical modeling to determine forecast accuracy and identify areas of revenue opportunities. Leverage data visualization techniques and communication skills to present complex analytical findings in clear business terms that facilitate acceptance and execution by business partners and senior executives. Basic Qualifications Proven analytical and conceptual skills Demonstrated proficiency in Excel Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional presentation skills Demonstrated exceptional problem solving and process improvement skills Demonstrated exceptional partnering skills Ability to simplify complex data into metrics and recommendations that are easily understood and actionable Preferred Qualifications Three to five years experience in applying advanced analytical techniques to solve business problems Demonstrated SAS and/or SQL programming experience Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau) Understanding of revenue management concepts (i.e. dilution, displacement, etc.) Ability to interpret complex pricing models to inform forecast influence decisions at a granular level for assigned resorts Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics or a related analytical field Preferred Education Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field Additional Information: We strongly encourage applicants to upload a copy of their resume and to print a copy of this role description so they can refer to it in the event they are selected for an interview.
