Consumer Insight, Measurement, and Analytics (CIMA) is an organization within Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Global Marketing & Sales responsible for informing strategy development and decision-making. It does this by taking a holistic, objective and integrated view of the business, as well as marketing and sales programs, and delivering actionable data analytics, synthesis, and insights. The Analytics & Optimization Manager must possess a passion for marketing data and analytics. This individual will be responsible for managing, maintaining and transforming large quantities of media, sales and response data across the entire Walt Disney Parks & Resorts business in order to enable the organization to maximize its marketing return on investment. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Advanced Analytics & Optimization and will be based in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities The Analytics & Optimization Mgr's key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Identify new and robust sources of media data Work with Technology partners to onboard new sources Transform and QC data to be compatible with internal reporting platform and ensure data accuracy Identify and document data requirements to support both ongoing and ad hoc analysis Become media data SME to develop an expertise and evangelize those data sets Document and automate all new data processes Provide data support for regularly scheduled meetings and presentations Find marketing opportunities and mitigate risks by mining data and conducting data analyses Report any key issues or learnings to senior leadership Basic Qualifications 5-7 years of analytical experience including working with big data environments (including Teradata, Oracle, and Hadoop) Prior experience with transforming raw data into actionable modeling data sets Prior experience with statistical modeling tools including python, R and SAS system programming languages Prior experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau Project management experience Basic understanding of digital media ecosystem Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of analytical experience Prior knowledge of internal Disney data and databases Prior experience with marketing, paid media, CRM, digital, and/or social media data Prior experience with DMP and marketing/media technologies Project management certification Required Education BS in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, statistics, or business administration Preferred Education MBA or Advanced degree in an analytics or mathematics field About Walt Disney World Resort: Since opening in 1971, Walt Disney World Resort has played an important role in many childhood and family memories.
