The SEO Manager will be performing search engine optimization for the Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International segment and manage SEO for priority sites and apps. The SEO Manager should be someone who is passionate about online marketing and has a track record of achieving business goals through SEO. This individual should be able to make decisions that reflect a solid understanding of current SEO strategies and will interact daily with editorial, marketing, product, and technology teams. Responsibilities Help develop, manage, and execute ASO and SEO Diagnose and solve SEO problems including on-page code and off-page campaigns Provide ASO and SEO support for specific events Work closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to implement ASO and SEO Provide expertise for news and editorial search optimization Develop KPIs to measure organic search performance and results Report ASO and SEO program and campaign results Make ASO and SEO recommendations based on data Basic Qualifications 5 years of organic SEO experience 5 years of experience in the use of web analytics tools Up-to-date knowledge of current ASO and SEO strategies Demonstrates an ability to influence cross-functional teams to obtain desired results Solid understanding of online marketing Knowledge of HTML markup and web development Knowledge of server technologies (caching, environments, logging) Preferred Qualifications Organizational and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables on tight timelines Ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate critical data and adjust strategies as needed Diplomacy and confidence to work across groups effectively High attention to detail Reliable communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Partners with cross-functional colleagues Provides specialized technical guidance to others across the organization Personal qualifications include: Self-starter Team player Strong work ethic High degree of ownership and accountability Comfort with fast paced environments Strong Emotional Intelligence Required Education College degree (or equivalent experience) Preferred Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing or business-related field About Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) that brings our Company’s stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 categories, from toys and t-shirts, to apps, books and console games.
