Position: Mobile Applications Developer Company: NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc. Location: Amityville, NY The Company: NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Amityville, Long Island NY, is a world-wide leader in the manufacturing of electronic security systems for over 45 years has a full time opening for a Mobile Applications Developer. This engineering position requires the analysis, design, and development of Applications for mobile devices according to specifications. Responsibilities: · Responsible for writing the code (or modules) independently for the mobile device Apps. Participate in specifying the functions, methods and events needed for the program. · Carry out the debugging and troubleshooting of the program. Record the results and identify the possible problems in the application. · Work closely with Software Quality Assurance team and Problems tacking and deliver internal/final releases. · Document and provide the basic user manual to be used by the end users. Offer functional specifications to writers who will create the manual. · Help in training technical support personnel once the application is deployed. · Maintenance and App upgrades and adding new functionalities after the initial release. Requirements: · 5 years of coding experience in mobile app development is required. App development for Android and iOS using React-Native technology is a must. Strong Experience with Objective-C and/or Swift for iOS SDK. Strong Experience with Java and Android SDK. Comprehensive knowledge with iOS & Android operating systems. TCP/IP, UDP, WiFi and Bluetooth device connectivity Programming for mobile devices. Experience with third-party libraries, frameworks, and APIs for mobile devices. Experience with Android Studio/Eclipse. Experience with web-based user interface development for mobile devices, i.e. jQuery, Bootstrap, MVC, .Net a plus. Database design, SQL and scripting languages. Microsoft SQL Server is a plus. Knowledge of Visual Studio, Language C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, and Java script a plus. Object Oriented programming, Unit Testing and Agile practice. SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), flowcharting and documenting code. Rigorous source control AWS and TFS. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics.
