Reporting to the Director of Design and Digital Strategy, the frontend developer will play a crucial role in the Create Studio for University Relations. The frontend developer will collaborate with designers, stakeholders, writers and others to create accessible, clean, well functioning frontend code for web and other digital communication. Working with a dynamic team, the frontend developer will build and maintain mobile-first templates for the Adobe Experience Manager content management system (CMS) to be used by vt.edu, vtnews.vt.edu, and other constituents around the university. She/he will also provide frontend solutions to a number of digital projects focused on engaging with strategic audiences. These projects will set the stage for a university-wide initiative to embrace a digitally focused, audience centered approach to communication.
