Position Summary: The candidate will lead the Strategy & Technology Program Management Office team in Carrier's WHQ organization. This team will provide global support for Carrier's Fire and Security Products and HVACR divisions. PMO efforts will center on execution of enterprise engineering portfolio management to ensure long-term value, and utilize program management leadership to support develop of technology innovations that will transform the competitive landscape. The candidate will engage with engineering sites globally for the development and transition of new technologies into the product development process. Key Job Responsibilities: Drive the design & implementation of the new strategy & technology organization structure Define a detailed view on how Central Engineering will tackle the Direct Procurement Support Issue with a different approach to value engineering. Implement and drive the execution of the innovation governance process for technology development Utilize project management best practices to manage plans, budget, and resources Partner with Engineering Methods to increase PM effectiveness across the organization Monitoring & reporting of the strategy & technology portfolio and roadmapping/platforming Drives cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Operations, Marketing, & Product Management Attendance and support of Executive Leadership Team meetings and CEO requests for information on behalf of CTO. Experience / Qualifications: Programmatic skills to assess what is not working, what needs to be done, to create plans in place for direction, and to implement lessons learned/best practices Strong technical, communication and organization skills and the ability to drive project execution. Skilled in conflict resolution and influence without authority. Experience and presence communicating at all levels of the organization including C-suite. Ability to work and prioritize multiple projects at the same time. Familiarity with HVACR and FSP businesses PMP Certification desired Education: MS in Engineering with a minimum 15 years' experience or MBA/PhD with a minimum of 7 years' experience.
