Description Provides accounting support to hospital. Compiles, maintains and analyzes accurate and timely financial data. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Associates Degree or combined education and experience in accounting equivalent to 2 years required. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: N/A SKILLS: Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with others. Knowledge of data processing systems. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office. Demonstrated ability to learn new data systems/software quickly. Knowledge of payroll regulations and practices. Must be able to work independently and follow established procedures. EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in bookkeeping/accounts payable/payroll and account reconciliations, preferably in health care environment. Must have strong computer background. NATURE OF SUPERVISION: -Responsible to: Manager of Reimbursement ENVIRONMENT: - Bloodborne pathogen A PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is conducted in an office environment with many deadlines.
