Nesco Resource is seeking a Data Analyst for our bio-tech client's master data management area. This is a contract position expected to last approximately one year with the potential for permanent hire. Summary: Develop strategies and manage master data across systems and processes with the goal of ensuring master data is consistent, trustworthy, and accessible. Perform daily master data management (MDM) activities required for the successful planning and operation of the supply chain. Work closely with other functions/ departments to understand, improve and standardize MDM-related processes ensuring effective, scalable supply chain planning and operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: • Initiate Item Master requests for new items. • Perform set up of new system locations. • Perform entry of new items, item conversions and sourcing rules for produced and purchased items. • Perform entry, update, and approval of recipes and routings for Filling, Assembly, and Labeling events. • Perform entry, update and approval of planning recipes for material requirements planning. • Document current state processes, assist in putting together a future state design. • Assist accounting team with month end activity. • Review all controlled documents and schedule appointments to drop off controlled forms with Document Control. • Design and develop enhancements to the department SharePoint site. • Design and develop excel tools and spreadsheets to collect and analyze data. • Design and build databases to gather business information - for analysis, querying and reporting. • Support supply chain business operations by providing data extracts, reports and analyses. • Assist in defining and generating KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure performance. • Support projects across IOPS which impact master data management. This includes; executing test scripts, designing processes, drafting requirements, and assisting with end user training. • Work closely with the Supply Chain Systems to document business processes, define requirements, develop recommendations, and support enhancement development between Supply Chain operations and technical IT teams.
