The Logistics Analyst is responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support Logistics and Distribution operations. Job Details: 1. Create and analyze reports to support business execution. 2. Develops business tools and solutions based on knowledge, product or technology and identifies process improvements. 3. Performs data management through a combination of data mining, data modeling, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis and/or problem analysis; while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility. 4. Supports the business through ad-hoc queries, and maintains reports from a variety of resources as specific to department or organizational needs 5. Analyze Business Unit forecasts and historical trends to create fulfillment plans to optimize management, equipment, resources, and staffing 6. Generate and maintain all weekly reporting for management meetings 7. Maintain reporting decks as needed by all levels of management, including from the floor level to the executive team 8. Create and generate weekly/monthly TAKT 9. Analyze and develop reporting and analytics for distribution costs by business 10. Issue / lead business information and analytics to drive efficiencies, lead-time optimizations, delivery solutions, openness, reducing/highlight risks in distribution. 11. Prepare analysis/reporting’s to support contractual negotiations/ transportation RFP and sourcing. 12. Responsible for the accuracy of all Operational Related Key Performance Indicator’s and metric review, trend analysis for Operational Reviews 13. Applies problem solving methodologies and corrective actions to close gaps and ensure best in class operational performance 14. Develops and delivers operational analytics, metrics and KPI's to support the continuous improvement of the network. 15. Supports the operational execution network, focused on attainment of customer metrics, through development of metrics and KPI's aligned with organizational goals and objectives. 16. Background Experiences • Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent combination of education & work experience • 2 years of analytical or planner experience • Working knowledge of JDE • Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology a plus • Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite including Access, l, PowerPoint, Project, Word and Visio. • Advanced Skills in: Excel, Access, SQL, Visual Basic Skills for Data Acquisition and Analysis • Experience in an FDA regulated industry, medical device or pharmaceutical preferred
