Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) has approximately 90 lawyers, advocates and support staff working to provide FREE civil legal aid for low to moderate income residents in Central Florida. In a nutshell, people that need the most help are able to receive help.
Our team has the ability to look at matters from a legal perspective and fix them. For example, did you know that there are legal issues that have resulted in homelessness, unstable housing, loss/denial of veteran benefits, denied access to education, feeling of hopelessness by victims of domestic violence, etc...?
Since 1966, we have been providing legal assistance and advocacy to help residents obtain the basic necessities of life: food, shelter, health care, safety and education. We are the primary provider of free civil legal aid and we have 8 offices serving 12 counties in Central Florida: Brevard, Citrus, Flagler, Hernando, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Putnam, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia.
