The Digital Marketing Analyst, Digital Marketing is responsible for creating data-driven reports and written analysis to inform marketing strategy and optimizations. Marketing analysis experience should include: email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), social media, and website optimization. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and measure the effectiveness of email, digital advertising, and social marketing programs by monitoring and presenting data analysis/recommendations to stakeholders through:
Written performance reports incorporating YOY metrics sourced from multiple platforms (i.e. Google Analytics, Luminate Online, Return Path, etc);
Attribution reporting and modeling, including marketing conversion attribution and cross-channel attribution;
Website usability (UX/UI) reports utilizing heatmapping technology and Google Analytics for website optimizations;
Google Data Studio reports presenting accessible and understandable reports for internal clients;
Monitor email deliverability KPIs and organic search rankings (SEO);
Monitor digital analytics tools for outages and gaps in data collection;
Develop improved guidelines and processes for daily/weekly/monthly reports;
Manage special projects, as assigned.
Reports to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing. There is no supervisory responsibility for this position. This individual will work with a variety of individuals throughout the Institute, but the position is primarily self-governing.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years' experience developing digital marketing reporting and meaningful analysis for websites, email, social media, and multi-channel campaigns;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel, v-lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation, and analysis
Bachelor's degree or higher.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Excellent understanding of digital marketing metrics and KPIs for websites, email marketing and deliverability, digital advertising, and social media.
Demonstrated ability to extract meaningful analysis from data;
Expertise in Google Analytics including ecommerce, event tracking, and Google Data Studio report creation, as well as knowledge of Google UTM tracking and Google Tag Manager functionality;
Excellent organizational skills
Detail-oriented with a strong track record of accurate reporting;
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meets deadlines;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel;
Knowledge of email deliverability tools a plus (i.e. Return Path);
Knowledge of social media platforms, tools, metrics, and strategies;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Familiarity with web and email production.
Workstation in typical office setting. A quiet workspace will be provided. Works on deadline.
