University of West Florida has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cybersecurity by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, and serves as the CAE Regional Hub for the Southeast U.S. The UWF Center for Cybersecurity is a regional hub for multidisciplinary cybersecurity education, research, partnerships and outreach.

The Center is nationally recognized for its cybersecurity education and workforce development initiatives, including the Cybersecurity for All® program, Florida Cyber Range® and Cybersecurity Ambassadors program. The Center for Cybersecurity collaborates with and supports many government, industry and academic partners, including providing training and workforce development.

UWF offers multidisciplinary undergraduate and graduate cybersecurity programs and certificates, and state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities. UWF employs multidisciplinary faculty with cybersecurity expertise who lead UWF’s education, workforce development and research efforts.
