The Senior Information Security Engineer designs data security controls for endpoint, applications, database, and infrastructure security for Hyundai Capital America (HCA), in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy of its systems and the information in those systems. The position requires a thorough understanding of current and emerging information security technologies and development methodologies. Guides systems administrators and other users in the configuration of their systems in accordance with security policies, procedures and best practices.  Recommends and enforce information security directives as mandated by legislation and HCA policy. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for designing application and database security architecture. Coordinate technical design/review activities with application development, enterprise architecture, database security to develop secure frameworks for applications and databases. Responsible for designing the enterprise security infrastructure and architectural topology, including networks, servers, and endpoints. Integrate information security requirements to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy of information systems. Ensure consistency and sufficient integration with existing infrastructure. Responsible for adoption of information security requirements into the Design, Implementation and Operations within the Security System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Promote acceptance of new security technologies within the organization, balancing business goals, security risks and customer usability. Work with business management to communicate security risk and countermeasures. Assess criticality of identified vulnerabilities within the Information Technology environment and guide the remediation of these vulnerabilities. Perform all other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Strong knowledge of information security products and implementations, with an emphasis on design in the areas of networks, servers, endpoints, applications, databases, and integration. Significant knowledge of security protocols, applications and authentication tools, including Kerberos, SSL and tokens. Strong knowledge of Access Controls, Directory Services, LAN infrastructure and technical standards. Strong knowledge of LDAP, Java/J2EE, BEA Weblogic, Oracle. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and UNIX security principles and best practices. Strong knowledge of cryptography and encryption methods, including PKI and IPSec. Strong knowledge of system and network forensic best practices. Strong knowledge of firewalls and firewall architecture. Strong knowledge of network and host-based intrusion detection systems and architecture. Strong knowledge of secure application development and database security. Strong knowledge of n-tier software application architectures. Working understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP and network security protocols. Knowledge of secure application development principles, commonly exploited vulnerabilities and applications, and exploitation techniques. Knowledge of software development languages and packages. Knowledge of Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and other government technology laws Ability to analyze and resolve problems in fast-paced, dynamic business environment. Good organizational skills to handle multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to present persuasive ideas. Education and Experience BS degree in Computer Science or other related area of study required 8 – 10 years progressive experience in information security roles required 10 – 12 years progressive experience in information technology/security overall CISSP, MCSE, CCNP or other related information security certification required Project Management Experience preferred Experience in medium size companies, preferably in Financial Industry Experience preferred

The Sr. Analyst, Consumer Credit Risk analyzes all aspects of consumer credit risk at origination, from the decision to grant credit, to the appropriateness of the limits that bound credit policy, through to the expected risk exposure of a new product or program. Analyses support credit operations, sales, pricing, and finance by providing clear and succinct assessments used for decision making. Duties and Responsibilities 1.   Analyze and forecast HCA’s current and potential risks related to the loan portfolio, including trend, credit quality, concentration, and delinquency analyses. 2.   Provide decision support to the Risk Management team in the areas of querying, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating qualitative and quantitative data associated with credit risk. 3.   Review transactions for Consumer Credit and Funding Teams to evaluate the merit of the decision, ensure adherence with policies and procedures, and with legal and regulatory compliance.  4.   Review credit decisions with Consumer Credit Team Leads/Managers, and provide feedback and clarification. Act as subject matter expert in credit adjudication, policies, procedures, and processes in support of Operation Centers. 5.   Prepare reports highlighting risks, gaps, and findings with recommendations on credit decision best practices and balancing credit opportunities with appropriate operational risk management. Perform all other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Strong PC skills; Microsoft Access, SAS, SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relational database concepts.  Knowledge Studio and/or Visual Basic would be a plus An in-depth understanding of statistics and its applications Ability to comprehend instructions, create documentation on reporting, and explain complex systems and data succinctly Demonstrate strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex data analysis Ability to understand business objectives and their relationship to the importance of individual projects  Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative experience; Master’s degree preferred 5+ years prior work experience performing analytics; auto credit underwriting experience a plus SAS, SQL, Advanced Excel skills required
