  • Responsibilities. Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of scripts to ensure application code meet business requirements and performance standards. Resolve support tickets related to application functionality and performance and system availability. Leverage tools, including JIRA/Confluence, as part of document management and issue findings. Support client and partner integration by identifying technical issues and providing resolution, perform research to enable continuous improvements, and implement best practices and procedures to ensure software application design and systems adhere to standards. Participate in research, diagnoses, troubleshooting and identifying software solutions to resolve issues, gather pertinent information to recreate end-user scenarios to resolve complex issues, and track issues reported. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams and provide answers to clients and partners by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding end-users through corrective steps. Lead others to solve complex software problems and recommend best practices to improve software products, processes, or services. Utilize complex technologies, including REST web services, JSON, PHP, Java, Python, OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.



  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biotechnology, Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Working with large scale secure systems; Working within an API ecosystem; Using APIs to investigate and resolve complex technical issues; Collaborate with development teams to address production critical issues and implement necessary fixes; API design and architecture; Collaborate with highly technical teams, product management, and senior leadership to align API support and infrastructure management with overall company goals and strategies; API security; Utilize existing models and automation tools to proactively address potential API issues; Secure transactions via API’s; Oversee business critical clients and supporting escalations; SOAP Web Services; REST Services; HTTP/S, TCP/IP, SFTP, FTPS, and FTP; Integration frameworks, including Apache Camel; Software development experience using Java, Python, J2EE, MySQL, Micro-Services, Spring or Hibernate; Triaging production issues using monitoring solutions such as Splunk or AppDynamics; Machine Learning Models including Traditional Models (Linear/Logistic or any CART models), Deep Learning Neural Models and frameworks (Keras/TensorFlow); Provide insights on how technical support, infrastructure, and API services can enhance products and drive business growth; Communicate with external users to understand their API-related needs and provide timely solutions; Creation and maintenance of comprehensive API documentation, ensuring its accuracy and user-friendliness.
