Job Description

This is an entry level position located in Choice’s Rockville, MD headquarters.

International Operations, Analyst will be responsible for assisting International partner offices with cross-departmental support as well as mining data to prepare presentations, memos and reports to improve the value proposition and franchisee retention.  Additionally, this role will identify distinct types of data that require tracking to improve business performance, working with management to prioritize suggested changes to each business segment and leveraging statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and streamlining processes.

The successful candidate will be a highly-motivated, self-starter, collaborative team player with excellent problem-solving skills; comfortable with change and fast pace environment.


Data mining and text analytics along with statistics, to allow the business to create predictive intelligence by uncovering patterns and relationships in both structured and unstructured data. 

Apply predictive analytics to achieve CRM objectives, such as sales and franchise services, throughout the customer and hotel lifecycle, right from acquisition, relationship growth, retention, and win back. 

Create stories from historical and transactional data to identify risks and opportunities to improve the International Value Proposition and increase franchisee retention.

Lead cross-departmental meetings to ensure International market office needs are tailored to increase business performance.


  • College degree or 2+ years of analytical experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Tableau proficiency preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Flexibility in handling multiple tasks.
  • Self-starter; exhibits leadership skills.
  • Customer service focus.
