Job Description

The Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Decision Science & Integration (DDSI) consulting team is responsible for supporting clients across The Walt Disney Company including Direct-to-Consumer & International, Media Networks (e.g., ABC, ESPN), Studio Entertainment (e.g., The Walt Disney Studios, Disney Theatrical Group) and Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products. DDSI leverages technology, data analytics, statistical and econometric modeling to explore opportunities, shape business decisions and drive business value.

In this position, you will leverage analytics to support Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products projects including pricing, financial forecasting and content analytics.

This is an ideal role for a candidate who can rigorously and rapidly resolve ambiguity and problem-solve to provide actionable recommendations for our internal clients. You have a natural curiosity and talent for innovation, with a strong track-record of implementation of analytics projects, customized solutions and tools. The right person will be excited to lead in-depth business process review meetings, collaborate with the decision science and data integration teams to develop actionable solutions, regularly present to senior executives and successfully manage client relationships throughout the project life cycle. You learn quickly, recognize patterns, connect information in creative ways and see the big picture.

This position reports to a Senior Managing Consultant.

Your Role

Internal consultant - Act as a company-wide consultant leveraging advanced analytics and data science models to solve business problems

Drive results – Identify opportunities, set priorities, hit deadlines, shape project deliverables and communicate science into results that can be understood and acted upon by executives and managers

Collaborate effectively - Act as liaison for the DDSI team with highly technical teams such as Decision Science, Technology, business partners and external vendors/consultants

Strategic partner - Engage in projects that drive value, improve business efficiencies and guide strategy development

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Business, Economics, Analytics or Management Science
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or consulting role with some leadership experience
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proven creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to simplify complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Highly collaborative with ability to work in cross-functional teams and influence decision makers
  • Excellent balance of technical and business acumen
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously, as needed
  • Exceptional learning orientation and dedication to ongoing skills development

How To Stand Out

  • Master’s degree with specialization in Business, Economics, Analytics or Management Science
  • Deep experience developing and applying data science, statistics, pricing, or revenue management analytics solutions
  • Experience in retail, product licensing, supply chain or distribution
  • Excellent client orientation and customer service skills, internal or external consulting experience
  • Exceptional knowledge of the Disney brand
  • Proven experience with and solid understanding of advanced analytical methods
