About the Certified Salesforce Consultant role

The Certified Salesforce Consultant is a client-facing consulting role with promotion potential in a growing organization. The qualified candidate will build and integrate Salesforce components and processes, prepare and load data, build workflows and campaigns, interpret results, document findings and recommendations, and participate in client meetings and workshops. Additionally, they will be expected to coordinate, prepare, and manage project documents and deliverables; analyze the current state of the client's business; identify gaps and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for improvement.

Required skills, knowledge, experience

Qualified candidates should possess most of the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator
    • And two of the following:
      • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
      • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
      • Salesforce Pardot Consultant
  • Using Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot and/or Einstein for building and executing marketing and sales strategies for mid-level or enterprise-level organizations
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with SQL databases
  • Experience with development and maintenance of logical and physical data models
  • Development of ETL code and automated processes
  • Programming: relevant platforms include Salesforce scripting (Apex, VisualForce, etc.), SQL, Python and/or SAS
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple terms
  • Self-motivated and efficient time management
  • Operating systems: Windows, Linux

Skills Desired

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with data in financial services, insurance, retail, and energy business


  • Geography: This position is based at company headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Management’s strong preference is for candidates already located in our metropolitan area.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Commitment: Full time, 40-50 hours/week.  
  • Travel: the basic expectation for travel within North America is 50%.
  • Candidates are required to pass a background screen including a criminal history, reference check and drug screen. Corios is a drug-free employer.
