The Disney Streaming Services Retention Analytics team is looking for a curious, collaborative, and creative Retention Analytics Manager to lead consumer-focused analyses. We aim to understand the impact of organic messaging campaigns on improving engagement and retention of our current ESPN+ and future Disney+ audience. He/she should have experience with analyzing performance data across e-mail, in-app and push as this position will be heavily focused on messaging and e-mail marketing analytics.
Partner closely across the Retention Marketing team to identify campaign opportunities with the goal of reducing churn and growing engagement, contribute to the testing strategy and analyze impact.
Create applied advanced analytic solutions/predictive modeling to understand and drive engagement growth.
Support the development of customer engagement strategies, programs and digital capabilities through data-driven recommendations.
Partner with data scientists to more deeply understand our audience and user behavior, as well as a primary research analyst to understand qualitative signals from our audience and connect these insights to user behavior.
Ad hoc table development.
Customer segmentation modeling for the purposes of actioning marketing campaigns and meeting engagement KPIs.
Collaborate with testing analysts to identifying opportunities, designing user experiments, and providing actionable recommendations based on results.
The ideal candidate will have experience working for a digital subscription-based business including e-commerce and streaming media. They should:
Have 5+ years of CRM analytics experience analyzing user behavior and engagement drivers, as well as experience using CRM analytics tools like Salesforce.
Have a demonstrated history of translating complex data sets into clear and actionable narratives and communicate opportunities and challenges to stakeholders.
Have experience with data mining techniques, multi-channel attribution modeling and statistics methodologies.
Have a background in data visualization and dashboard development.
Knowledge of SQL; Python/R or other statistical programming language preferred.
Experience managing projects and teams preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field including Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Social Science.
Graduate degree preferred.
