We are looking for an exceptional Technical Program Manager who will support the Data organization at Slack. The Data organization is a highly-cross functional, matrixed team that spans Slack where you will primarily be responsible for facilitating execution and alignment across that organization, and driving large-scale initiatives that span this ecosystem.
You are able to fluidly move between business and technical contexts. You understand the business and its priorities and are able to effectively drive strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver results. You understand technical implementation at a level that enables you to ask questions that clarify priorities and dependencies.
You break through communication issues and effectively develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and all facets of the business. You are comfortable communicating in both a technical and business setting, bridging conversations between Engineering, Analytics and business functional teams.
Do you use your critical thinking skills to drive successful organizational long-term plans while working on multiple, highly-detailed projects? Do you relish the opportunity to attack big, ambiguous problems? Do you develop methods to help the team get their work done effectively and drive the business to think critically about how to plan and prioritize the work? If this sounds interesting, come work at Slack! We're nice. :)

Smart, hardworking, humble, collaborative — these are the attributes we look for in people. They're attributes we employ every day in our work together: we’re building a platform and products we believe in — knowing there is real value to be gained from helping people, wherever they are, simplify whatever it is that they do and bring more of themselves to their work.
We’re building a strong, diverse team of curious, creative people who want to find a purpose in their work and support each other in the process. We work hard and we play to win… within normal business hours. And then we go home.
That balance is important: It enables us to truly do the best work of our lives. As a result, we create a place where all kinds of work happens — and happens well — all while working alongside people we respect and admire.
