Job Description

Do you want to bring your experience and know how to an organization that is excited to build out their data function? We are adding a Digital Product Analyst to our Product Management team. This person will be the team’s data expert and inform product strategy and decision making through holistic data integration, objective data analysis, and actionable recommendations.

We are looking for an analyst who is passionate about being the voice of the customer to look at data and recommend improvements for our mobile applications. For this position, we need someone who is excited to develop the dashboards, KPI’s, reporting, and analysis. This is a new position for us so be prepared to not only roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty but also teach us!

In this position, this is some of what you will be accountable for:

  • Perform ongoing data analysis on the current product line as well as upcoming launches by utilizing tools: Mixpanel, Firebase and Google Analytics.
  • Translate data into consumable, actionable narratives; regularly update the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on the key drivers of KPI metrics for the department.
  • Bring forth impactful suggestions for products and features that are rooted in data.
  • Develop theories that can be explored with analysis to help us improve.
  • Design split tests, interpret results, and communicate the broader implications.
  • Build strong relationships with teams across the company to understand business objectives and opportunities.
  • Regularly audit our current tools and determine improvements to tagging and reporting.
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to understand the customer flow thru and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze performance through dashboards and provide strategic optimization recommendations.

So…what does it take?

We are looking for someone with 4 – 6 years of experience organizing, analyzing, and interpreting digital web and mobile data. Because of this you would have a strong background in data analysis and quantitative thinking and be able to provide detailed and accurate reporting. You must have Mixpanel or Google Analytics experience along with an advanced Microsoft Excel skillset. We would love it if you have experience with Optimizely and VWO along with working knowledge or knowledge of R (GNU S), SAS, SQL, SPSS, Python or other data-extraction and analysis tools such as Tableau.
