RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client that is seeking a Database Administrator in Aurora, IL. Summary The Database Administrator is responsible for the performance, integrity, security, and administration of the enterprise-wide databases. The Fund's database systems include MS SQL and Oracle, with the possibility for future PostgreSQL implementations. Specific duties of this role include database design, testing, planning, implementation, operations, and maintenance. As the subject matter expert on databases, this position works with business and IT teams to implement new systems and processes, and to streamline existing systemsprocesses for efficiency, as well as triaging enterprise system issues at the database level. The team member in this role is expected to be able to perform these duties with minimal supervision and oversight. REQUIREMENTS 4 or more years' experience in a database administration role required Advanced to expert knowledge of one of the following MS SQL Server, Oracle Database 12c, or PostgreSQL Experience with all preferred Advanced understanding of database concepts, structure, and theory Demonstrated experience with continuous process improvement Experience in a hybrid Cloud environment desired Experience supporting ETL and Data Warehouse tools a plus Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
