Job Summary This position is responsible for leading the creation and implementation of the internal IT business technology strategy and roadmap. To accomplish this, it will partner closely with Surescripts corporate functions and Network Technology Operations on corporate IT strategy, and sourcing and implementing technology solutions. In addition, it provides the primary business interface to Network Technology Operations supporting the needs of the functions as they build out IT infrastructure in pursuit of operational excellence. Responsibilities Strategy and Planning Create and implement the internal IT business technology strategy and roadmap. Partner with each corporate function and the CIO to ensure a clear understanding of business processes, goals, and priorities. Create, socialize, and maintain process and technology map for Surescripts. Ensure that the corporate functions are aware of emerging trends, practices and technologies in the market place and how they may contribute to business outcomes and strategies. Partner closely with the corporate functions during the budget process to plan for IT investments. Provide input into cost estimates based on IT knowledge and expertise. Oversee the development, execution, and maintenance of business cases for internal IT investments. Partner with the PMO to drive project planning and prioritization, including the allocation of people resources, at the corporate level. Collaborate within Network Technology Operations regarding prioritization, planning, and resource allocation. Solution Sourcing and Implementation Work with business analysts to define, review, and approve high level business requirements to describe business needs and define the required scope of the solution. Determine whether any existing technologies could fulfill the needs. Engage external vendors where needed to further develop and implement IT solutions in alignment the business strategy. Act as an advisor in the technology aspects of request for proposals. Partner with the Project Sponsor and Legal on the contracts and master service agreements. In partnership with the Business Analysts, advise on and lead conversations regarding points of integration with other internal systems. Ensure solution alignment with data and information teams. Define and monitor ongoing support model for the solution. Collaborate within Network Technology Operations to ensure service delivery outcomes, metrics, and responsiveness. Ensure the Project Sponsor remains accountable for value realization, and that project teams understand their accountability for enabling the necessary metrics as part of the project to demonstrate overall business solution effectiveness. Measure and report on the benefits that are realized and sustained after the projects are complete. Compare benefits realized to the initial business case. Monitor ongoing costs. Provide continuous consulting to business teams. Relationship Management Build, maintain, and maximize relationships with internal and external business partnersvendors. Keep the corporate functions apprised of Network Technology Operations performance, prioritization, and updates. Drive resolution to concerns quickly and effectively. People Leadership Create a recommendation, obtain buy-in, and implement the optimal organizational structure for Business Analysts. Management responsibility will grow in breadth and depth including leadership of teams supporting the design, build, and IT operations of corporate systems. Qualifications Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in IT Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Ten years of IT project or IT relationship management experience demonstrating a high level of responsibility supporting corporate applications, infrastructure, andor network projectsprograms. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and influence internal customer relationships across the organization. Demonstrated experience providing people leadership to IT teams. Ability to drive and implement strategic technology solutions in support of critical business functions. Proficient in financial and business acumen. Exhibits business savvy.
