The Job The Technology Sales Associate is a hunter who can open accountsShe will sell financial, education andor manufacturing technical business solutions and will leverage best-in-class digital sales technologies, social tools and offerings to succeed in winning business and creating lasting relationships with customers. This position will influence decision makers, represent and promote ThoughtFocus business solutions to customers, and provide post-sales support to drive sell-through, solution implementation, and usage. Essential Job Functions Identify profitable opportunities and develop plans to strategically engage with clients Contributes to and shapes ThoughtFocus sales and client service solutions and capabilities relevant to local market needs and competitive dynamics Develops proposals, SoWs, contract negotiations, MSAs and closures Identifies service and product improvements or new services and products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. Interacts with senior management at each client andor within ThoughtFocus, which involves negotiating and influencing significant matters Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field Five years experience in technologyconsulting sales Proven record of opening new accounts Must have a sales hunter mentality Must possess a sales aptitude, as well as an understanding of the technology space Bias for action with a high energy level Entrepreneurial and innovative thinking in daily activities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in relevent field 10 years experience within the information technology service delivery industry Expert understanding of how technologiesproducts can be leveraged to enable strategic outcomes Understands industry threats, the general marketplace, and designing transformation to leverage technology for a client Proven track record in client relationship development Strong cross-functional collaborative skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and internal colleagues Solid experience in a consultative selling and purchasing environment Solid business strategy andor operating model experience Experience with core marketing, sales, and client service enabling technologies Experience in customer experience design, analytics, CRM Who We Are ThoughtFocus is a privately held IT services, software engineering and business process management firm with offices in the US, India and the Philippines.
