Biological Dynamics is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to the development of an innovative liquid biopsy platform. The Data Engineer will take responsibility for Biological Dynamic’s “Extract-Transform-Load” process, transitioning raw measurement results to scalable pipelines, datasets, and cloud infrastructure. As the primary interface for Biological Dynamic’s datasets, this position will serve an integral role working with scientists, quality assurance, and data science professionals.


  • Design and implement automated data pipelines in Python and Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement automated data integrity, quality assurance, and dataset health monitoring.
  • Work closely with the Research Division to explore data, implement experiments, and deliver ad-hoc datasets as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Graduate degree in Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in a Data Engineering role.
  • 3+ years experience working in Python.
  • 3+ years experience working in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience using Git/GitHub or other version control system.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL) and database architecture.
