Our Network and Cyber Security Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineers, operating security solutions, and delivering information security services across the organization and supporting the continuity of operations.

The Kind of Work You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead activities related to the engineering, design and implementation of Information Security, Network & Telecom Technologies.
  • Provide leadership to the team as a spokesperson, coach, change agent and direction-setter. Develop and foster spiritual growth in oneself and the team.
  • Help establish and track clear expectations, objectives and measures for the team.
  • Nurture a feedback-rich culture to develop individual team members and to foster healthy relationships inside and outside the team.
  • Use sound leadership practices such as: strategic planning, project management, cost containment, cost benefit, quality assurance and staff productivity.
  • Lead activities related to the engineering, design and implementation of Information Security, Network & Telecom Technologies.
  • Lead the overall strategy, direction, budgeting and tactical plans for Network, Telecom and Information Security services.
  • Internal information security consultant to the organization addressing Data Security regulations (PCI, State Data Breach Laws, etc).
  • Provide Leadership to technical staff ranging from System Administrators & Network Engineers to Senior Network Architects.
  • Direct information security program ensuring proper considerations are taken to reduce risk.
  • Lead information security risk assessments.
  • Lead investigations of information security incidents pertaining to Cru.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university, preferably in computer science, plus 8 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • A Master’s degree in Information Systems Management and/or Information Security or related discipline would be preferred.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations:

CCNA; ITIL, PMP, Security certification(s) preferred or equivalent experience

At least two of the following ANSI/ISO 17024 certifications that demonstrate evidence of the years of experience, competency to pass the proctored exams and continuing professional  education credits, showing commitment to continual learning and growth. Candidates are required to maintain certification and continually learn about new developments in Data Security and Networking technologies to be successful in this role:

  • CISSP®, Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • CPP®, Certified Protection Professional, Board Certified in Security Management
  • GLEG®, Global Information Assurance Certification for Legal Issues in Information
  • Technology and Security, or other relevant GIAC/SANS Institute Training Certification, such as GSEC, GCIH, GISP, GCFE, etc
  • CISM®, Certified Information Security Manager
  • CISA®, Certified Information Systems Auditor
