Job Description

Enterprise Application Analyst I, II or III

This position will be filled at the Enterprise Application Analyst I, II or III level, contingent upon the knowledge, skills and abilities of the selected candidate.

Purpose

The Enterprise Application Analyst is responsible for the support, operation, and maintenance of the District's Enterprise Applications: including but not limited to: PeopleSoft Human Resources and Finance, Maximo, Primavera, C2M (Customer to Meter) and Itron AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure). Customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications. Tests application layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs. Plays an integral role in the learning, training, and implementation of the District's enterprise applications.

Salary

nterprise Application Analyst I: The starting salary range for this position is $65,120- $81,400 (based on qualifications).  With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $97,680, annualized.

Enterprise Application Analyst II: The starting salary range for this position is $78,400 - $98,000 (based on qualifications).  With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $117,600, annualized.

Enterprise Application Analyst III: The starting salary range for this position is $97,840 - $122,300 (based on qualifications).  With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $146,760, annualized.

Introductory Period: New employees holding regular positions must complete an introductory period of twelve months.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Business Systems Support: Configure and operate on-premises Enterprise Business Systems. Provide technical support for enterprise applications and software issues. Respond immediately to security, usability concerns and resolve service desk requests.
  • Enterprise Business Systems Analysis: Perform systems analysis and modify existing IT systems. Monitor the system daily
  • Enterprise Business Systems Development: Participate in system upgrade activities. Perform query and reporting tasks.

Qualifications: 

Education

Equivalent experience (year for year) may substitute for required education.

Enterprise Application Analyst I, II or III

  • Bachelor's Degree B.S., B.A.) in a Computer Science field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Application-specific certifications for one or more enterprise business systems in use at the District are desired

Experience

Enterprise Application Analyst I

  • No prior experience required.
  • 1+ year performing IT Business System Engineering, Programming, or Administration, or related experience preferred.

Enterprise Application Analyst II

  • 2+ years Performing Enterprise Application Engineer or Analyst responsibilities, or closely related experience.
  • Experience with District enterprise applications preferred
  • Utility industry experience desired

Enterprise Application Analyst III

  • 5+ years Performing Enterprise Application Engineer or Analyst responsibilities, or closely related experience
  • Experience with District enterprise applications strongly preferred
  • Utility industry experience desired

Pursuant to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards, Chelan County Public Utility District #1 conducts background screening of personnel who have access to the District's critical physical and/or cyber assets.

Skills and Abilities

  • Computer programming in 1 or more object-oriented or scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of reading and comprehending SQL code, and comfortable with SQL database structure.
  • Basic technical knowledge of computer hardware, networks, security, and support.
  • Basic knowledge of system analysis, and requirements gathering techniques for business solutions and related documentation standards.
  • Technology Design - Generating or adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs.
  • Operations Analysis - Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design.
