NVIDIA is hiring a DevOps Engineer to work on our HPC compiler team. We are building optimizing compilers that enable breakthrough science in an array of applications including weather forecasting, high-energy physics, computational fluid dynamics, materials science, life sciences, astrophysics, mechanical engineering and related fields. You will part of the team creating the infrastructure that builds, tests, packages, and delivers high quality software products.
Automating and optimizing infrastructure for the build, test, integration, and release of NVIDIA compilers
Crafting efficiency and usability improvements that streamline release workflows
Developing DevOps tools and CI/CD workflows
Developing utilities for setting up systems, running tests, and recording and triaging results
A BS or MS in a computer science, computer engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
2+ years of relevant DevOps infrastructure experience
Fluency in Python, Perl, or Bash
Good knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD software
Experience setting up, maintaining, and automating CI/CD workflows and infrastructure
Experience using GNU Make, CMake, Bazel, or other build tools
Highly motivated with excellent programming and problem-solving capabilities. You are passionate and curious about new technologies. You take pride in your work and strive to achieve incredible results and possess excellent communication and planning skills.
Background in HPC or compiler development (e.g., LLVM)
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g. Perforce, Git)
Experience writing and maintaining complex software infrastructure for multi-platform environments
Background with Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, Slurm, or Ansible
Experience with Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
