Ke`aki Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Statistician/Biostatistician to work in our Navy Marine Corp Public Health Center (NMCPHC) contract in Portsmouth, VA.

Duties Include

  • Establish data requirements from a non-technical customer and write the applicable code.
  • Apply and interpret analytical and mathematical tools through the programming environment to address complex issues involving multiple table structures with complex query designs.
  • Deliver the results in a comprehensible format.

Education

  • Master’s degree in Business/Statistics with at least 12 credit hours of statistics, biostatistics, or epidemiology.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in biostatistics or epidemiology.
  • Expertise and mastery of the SAS language will be critical to success in this position.
  • Experience with other statistical packages such as Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is also required.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.

Preferred Experience

  • Ability to apply and interpret analytical and mathematical tools through the programming environment to address complex issues involving multiple table structures with complex query designs.

Clearance Requirement

  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
