This role is part of the leadership team accountable for the strategy, engineering, and delivery of analytics and BI data products that enable our retail organization from our store leaders to our executive teams to make game-winning decisions.

a day in the life

As Technology Manager, Supply Chain Data and Analytics, you are a leader on a team doing exciting and innovative work around bringing end-to-end visibility and predictive analytics around our Global Supply chain & Fulfillment capabilities. Leveraging modern technologies to enable our business partners with actionable insights and help transform into data driven organizations.

You will lead a BI team which includes a delivery team of program and project managers, development team of data engineers, visualization engineers (Power BI developers), Data Scientist, QA and test automation engineers. You will partner closely with the Enterprise Data platform team and drive adoption of modern data trends and design patterns.

You collaborate directly with managers, directors, and VP+ level leaders across technology, business, and product teams. You bring your experience, ideas, and initiatives to influence and drive change to support our growth and scaling. You are responsible for leading and developing a team to own, transform, and evolve the following areas:

Program Delivery

  • Drive overall portfolio strategy for data and analytics
  • Identify and oversee process improvements
  • Manage portfolio health and financials (CapEx, OpEx)
  • Lead workforce strategy, planning, hiring, and onboarding
  • Evolve delivery team capabilities
  • Drive decisions around intake, planning (quarterly and interim), and prioritization

Data & Analytics Engineering / Business Intelligence

  • Drive Global Supply Chain and Fulfillment data and analytics Technology roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross functional BI and analytics teams through Power BI COE and cross-functional quarterly planning
  • Develop and enhance data and analytics capabilities moving from descriptive reporting to more advanced capabilities
  • Build & evolve our Global Supply chain data products
  • Evolve and scale our self-serve capability for our SSC users

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in information technology including direct work experience leading analytics and business intelligence initiatives
  • Experience with cloud BI technology stack. Snowflake and Power BI preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience leading in a product-centric delivery environment
  • Experience building and supporting BI/Analytics business cases preferred
  • Retail domain experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing $5M+ technology delivery portfolio
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams through various delivery methodologies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present ideas across all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, analytics, data science or related field
  • Detail-oriented; Results-oriented; Problem solver

Preferred Skills/Tools/Technologies

  • Snowflake, Amazon EMR, Amazon RDS (Mysql, Postgres, SQL), Data Models, Spark, Python
  • Reports/Dashboards using Power BI
  • Experience in building micro services using Java & Spring Boot
  • Scala, Airflow, Kafka
  • Gitlab, Github
  • Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana

Compensation and Benefits Package

For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $141,400-$185,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
