We have a rare opportunity for a Predictive Modeling Analyst to support our Digital Technology team growth!

The role will work closely with our Data Analytics, Operations Management, Core Manufacturing and Industrial engineering teams to research, prototype, architect, and deploy complex analytics to create high-impact business value. The role is expected to gain experience while collaborating with business partners to develop predictive analytic solutions that enable data driven strategic decision making in the Digital Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 workspace.

This role utilizes data science techniques to manipulate structured and unstructured data sets, identify patterns in raw data, and develop models to predict the likelihood of a future outcome and/or to optimize business solutions especially related to machine maintenance, plant maintenance. Enterprise solutions that house data include enterprise SAP systems, plant floor machine data, myriad application and rogue shadow IT databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solid knowledge of predictive analytics techniques and statistical diagnostics of models
• Advance knowledge of predictive toolset; expert resource for tool development
• Demonstrated ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly and concisely
• Has a value-driven perspective with regard to understanding of work context and impact
• Understand data purpose, source and relationship to other data;
• Extract, aggregate and organize data using a repository (physical database on virtual environment) and methodology that creates reporting and access ease and efficiency;
• Use data through queries, programing and code development to report, trend and calculate statistics, performance, progress and health;
• Manage data access and use scenarios with data owners, IT partners and third party consultants and sub contractors;
• Create charts, graphs, dashboards and other data visualizations that make data intuitive for colleagues, partners and clients;
• Collaborate with report and dashboard creators on data standards and compliance. Conduct quality control monitoring and reporting
• Act as one of the subject matter experts on future state data trends and tools

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (STEM field) or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced Degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience with developing predictive models in a business setting including the following: Data quality assessment including manipulation, data cleaning, model monitoring; coding with R or similar object-oriented language such as Python or VBA; and working with a team that collaborates building projects/models in code using GitHub
• 2+ years of experience with MS Excel, including the ability to work with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs
• 2+ years in a manufacturing operations company role working with operations data

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• Knowledge of manufacturing applications and environment including but not limited to SAP, Ignition, MES systems, Plant Maintenance solutions, managing master data in manufacturing environment
• Customer-facing experience with communication of results or trouble-shooting
• Solid technical aptitude, such as programming experience with other languages/platforms including: SQL, DataBricks, ML Flow, Azure Cloud tech, etc.
• Enjoys and works effectively in a team environment
• Ability to learn quickly and use computer software tools effectively
