The Systems & Data Analyst – 3 located in Englewood Co provides engineering-level Technical Service & Support for the Jeppesen NavData™ Product.  Can also telecommute from AZ, CA, IL, MO, TX, VA, SC. Locations include: Englewood, Colorado; Alexandria, Virginia; Charleston, South Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; Seal Beach, California; Plano, Texas; Long Beach, California; Berkeley, Missouri; Hazelwood, Missouri; Mesa, Arizona; Dallas, Texas

Communicates directly with customers via email, phone or web.  Obtains customer requirements and provides technical consultation for onboarding of new tailored NavData™ customers.  Assists with continuing maintenance of existing tailored NavData™, and coordinates service suspensions & cancellations.  Submits customer requirements to data production teams and billing.  Resolves problems and questions regarding tailored content, format or errors/omissions in products that are escalated from Tier 1 Support, Sales/Services or received as direct inquiries from customers.  Investigates product functional issues and determines appropriate actions for resolution.  Serves as key contact point (liaison) between the customer and internal data production groups.  Records customer interaction and resolution details in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.  Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Data Standards and Product Management.  Provides input on new product implementations as well as current product modifications.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer-facing technical service & support for Boeing/Jeppesen NavData™
  • Resolve problems and handle requests relating to the aeronautical content in Boeing/Jeppesen NavData™ solutions
  • Investigate complex technical issues and provide recommended solutions to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Considerable ability to maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
  • Build team technical capability through sharing of knowledge & expertise with others
  • Support data design and research efforts and communicate solutions to cross-functional teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Can telecommute from posted locations.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years or more experience with ARINC-424 NavData
  • 3 years or more experience with product specifications
  • 3 years or more experience in government-issued navigation data documents (AIP, AIP AMDT/SUP, AICs, FAA Form 8260s, NFDDs, etc.)
  • 3 years or more experience with ARINC-424 production schedules
  • 3 years or more proficiency with Instrument Flight Procedures 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Knowledge of Boeing/Jeppesen NavData™ extract & delivery
  • Knowledge of Tailored NavData™ preferred
  • Knowledge of ARINC-424 NavData™ coding rules preferred
  • Knowledge of OEM systems & data compatibility preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Pilot or flight navigation experience preferred


Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).  Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.


This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
