The Product Systems IT&DA organization has an opening for a Mid-level Software Developer to work on tools that form the backbone of the Boeing fabrication and assembly system. We keep the spindles cutting, the lasers inspecting and robots operating. We build the IT capabilities of today and the future to commission, program, simulate, and execute Numerical Control and Robotic machines around the enterprise. If this sounds exciting to you then the Production System Design team is the place to be! The selected developer will collaborate with Senior Developer on the team to support production critical applications used for Composite fabrication on the 787 in North Charleston, SC.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Typical Education/Experience: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
