Job Description

Latitude, a forward-thinking research firm, is searching for a research analyst with ~ 4 years of relevant media research/consumer insights experience to help the company design and execute custom studies for media and technology clients.

The core areas of responsibility will be:

  • Managing assigned projects across their lifecycles – from design/proposal to reporting and presentation.
  • Strategic collaboration with clients and internal teams on study design, methodology, high-level needs, etc.
  • Integration and presentation of study findings – i.e., tying together the various “strands” of a research study into a coherent and precise story and being able to walk others through those findings.
  • Analyzing and interpreting research findings about our clients’ advertising campaigns, audiences, subscribers, users, and prospects.
  • Other project-related tasks as assigned, including conducting background research, coordinating fieldwork, programming surveys, and communicating directly with study participants and clients.

The right candidate will possess:

  • Strong interest and experience in media research (e.g., audience intelligence, advertising/sponsorship effectiveness, programming strategy, multi-platform, and multi-screen strategy, etc.)
  • Strong background knowledge of the media industry, especially TV networks and sponsorship/advertising.
  • Interest in a client-facing role and comfort with frequent client collaboration and consultation.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills, with a knack for articulating complex ideas in ways that are clear, concise, and easy for a general audience to understand.
  • Experience working with research vendors is a plus, but not required.
  • The ability to multi-task efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, SPSS or similar statistical analysis software packages, and data management.

This position offers many opportunities for growth and professional development. It is ideal for a candidate who is hoping to build his or her resume in a vibrant, cutting-edge company with an impressive client list in communications and technology (Paramount, NBCUniversal, Disney, Amazon, WarnerMedia, UNINTERRUPTED, etc.).
