about this team

This role is in the Global Product Technology team in the lululemon technology organization. The team is responsible for system reliability engineering, incident management and operations to ensure the right product is available at the right location and at right time.

a day in the life:

The ideal candidate will have a history of demonstrated results leading mid-size to large cross-functional Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning teams to deliver business values and thought leadership across matrixed organizations. They must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, create and simplify processes, and simultaneously support multiple projects impacting a growing global organization. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work closely with internal technical teams as well as different facets of the lululemon enterprise.

  • Analyze technology systems and related processes to identify and design improvements.
  • Lead technical/business systems analysts to define minimum feature set, acceptance criteria, user acceptance tests.
  • Understand business needs around planning, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization and translate to functional and technical requirements.
  • Drive roadmap and planning sessions with key decision makers and stakeholders from across the organization to deliver defined scope of work and support through productionization.
  • Understand end-user interfaces and actions, and how a forecast supports those actions.
  • Coordinate with engineering team to develop the most cost-effective solution on complex, high-impact efforts with visualizations for given metrics or nature of data.
  • Engages in design and impact assessments with tech leadership team and architects.

qualifications:

  • 5+ years in technology with recent experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • 5+ years of agile and scrum team experience.
  • 3+ years of retail industry experience with Demand Forecasting, Planning and Allocation systems.
  • Proficient at requirement gathering, managing ambiguity, and driving a project from inception to delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong cloud technology background: AWS preferred.
  • Strong communication skills: both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of SQL scripts for analysis and reporting on Data warehouse. i.e., Snowflake
  • Experience in agile/enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Zoom, MS Teams.
  • Preferred Scrum certification: SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is nice to have.
  • Strong skills in Agile and facilitating experience of scrum events within team and program.

compensation and benefits package

For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $132,200-$173,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
