The Core Markets Engineering team is a fast paced and dynamic group made up of Center of Excellences (CoE) that include Cybersecurity, Functional Safety and Embedded Software. Our charter is to support and develop high quality solutions in each of these CoEs. We are looking for a candidate skilled in hardware/software design and development in security applications. The target platform the candidate will work on includes the state-of-the-art Adaptive SoC.


The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for software engineering development with a cybersecurity focus, and is diligent and passionate about technology. A successful candidate will need to employ strong knowledge in computer technologies, leadership skills in technical areas, and SW engineering expertise. The candidate will have a strong ability to compete effectively in a fast-paced, relevant environment while working with different teams of engineers and collaborators (both internally and externally). 


  • Define security requirements for next generation platforms and solutions
  • Guide internal engineering teams in the implementation of requirements
  • Develop security architectures in support of customer driven use cases
  • Support Secure Development Lifecycle Activities including Threat and Risk Analysis, Penetration Testing, internal red teams, etc.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and other engineering groups to architect reference design solutions that meets or exceed customer requirements
  • Work hands-on in developing hardware/software applications
  • Participate and resolve critical customer support cases
  • Develop and review critical customer facing documentation (User Guides, Application Notes, White Papers, Security Working Group presentations) to enhance user experience


  • Experience with the application of security into products and systems
  • Experience with security certifications and standards (e.g. Common Criteria, FIPS, ISO21434, etc) desired
  • Experience in logic fundamentals and FPGA design
  • Use of simulation and verification techniques
  • Skilled with Verilog/VHDL
  • Hands on experience with integration and test
  • Knowledge of ARM-based Embedded Systems
  • Knowledge of other Embedded OS such as RTOS
  • Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric multi-processing systems and standards such as openAMP
  • Knowledge of Embedded Hypervisors 
  • Knowledge of Trusted Execution Environment 
  • Knowledge of ARM Trustzone Technology
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
    Team Player, Well Organized and Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in fast paced and fun multitasking environment


  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering related technical discipline
