The County of Solano has three (3) openings for Data Engineers to assist the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) to build a data warehouse from the ground up.
These newly created data engineer positions will start the development of the data warehouse team and bring the knowledge, vision and drive to successfully lay the foundation for data rationalization. These positions are responsible for analyzing and profiling data from our 18 departments. The largest and most complex department in the County is Health and Social Services (HSS), which includes Public Health, Social and Behavioral Health Services and has the highest demand for data use and reporting requirements. The Data Management Team serves in the Central IT department of the County of Solano, supporting two data centers, 18 departments with over 3,000 employees who work across multiple industries and providing services to approximately 447,643 constituents.
