Purdue University’s College of Engineering seeks an accomplished and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Data Analytics and Information. This key position supports the Dean, Cabinet, and Engineering Leadership Team in leveraging data to guide decisions, measure impact, and shape the future of one of the world’s leading engineering colleges.
The Director will oversee a collaborative and high-performing team that drives data-informed strategies across areas such as student success, faculty and graduate development, research performance, entrepreneurship, tech transfer, and college reputation management. Working closely with the Dean’s Office, this role ensures that complex and dynamic institutional priorities are supported with sound analytics, meaningful insights, and actionable intelligence.
This year the College of Engineering hit major milestones in our quest to become the most consequential engineering college in the nation. We are now the No.1 producer of Engineering graduates in the country –- no other University in the country confers more Engineering degrees on an annual basis than Purdue. This is true for BS degrees in Engineering awarded annually and also for BS, MS, and PhD degrees combined. We are also now No.1 in market demand –- no other University in the nation receives more applications for engineering majors than Purdue University. And thirdly, in the prestigious US News rankings which are based on measures of research strength, we are as a college, ranked No.5, tied with Caltech, out of 200 ranked engineering colleges. Equally important, 5 engineering disciplines are ranked in the top 5, and 10 in the top 10. This position is key in tracking and reporting the data at the center of the exciting, national headline-grabbing stories of Purdue Engineering.
